We’ve all been there: stuck in a thought loop about a work email, comparing our behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel, or feeling like we’re just reacting to life instead of living it. Some may think the Yoga Sutras are just academic texts but I see them as Soul Logic. They offer amazing life advice that (I believe) is more relevent than ever in our modern world.
Starting this week, we are launching a 6-week joruney: Yoga Sutras – Tools for Living. We’re taking this ancient wisdom off the shelf and putting it to work on our mats and in our lives. This isn’t just about stretching (athough we will be doing plenty if that too!) it’s about building a practical toolkit to help you navigate the noise and the hustle of the world with an unshakable center. Which lets face it is needed now more than ever!
The 6-Week Roadmap: Your Soul Logic Toolkit
Each week, we’ll dive into a specific tool and rehearse it through a dynamic Vinyasa flow:
- Week 1 | The Great Pivot (Pratipaksha Bhavana): Learn the art of the mental U-turn. We’ll use twists and rotations to physically practice shifting our perspective when negative thoughts arise.
- Week 2 | The Mirror of Habit (Svadhyaya): The mat is a mirror. We’ll use Mandala flows to see our default settings and learn how to move with intention rather than auto-pilot.
- Week 3 | The First Key: Friendly Joy (Maitri): The anti-comparison tool. We’ll practice expansive heart-openers to learn how to be genuinely happy for others’ success without feeling less than.
- Week 4 | The Second Key: Radical Compassion (Karuna): How to sit with discomfort without trying to fix it. We’ll lean into deep hip openers to find kindness in the sticky spots.
- Week 5 | The Third Key: Finding Inspiration (Mudita): Turning envy into a roadmap. We’ll explore challenging peak poses to find delight in the process and the courage it takes to try.
- Week 6 | The Fourth Key: Protecting Your Peace (Upekksha): The ultimate social survival guide. We’ll work on balancing poses to build an internal center that remains steady even when life gets chaotic.
